A little about CASA and this event:

The generosity of our sponsors/players/volunteers provides support for
children going through a highly traumatic period in their lives. The
mission of CASA Kendall County is to provide court-appointed volunteer
advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe,
permanent homes. Our charity softball tournament is sure to be an fun
opportunity to show your skills or simply show your support for our
mission. There are 2 divisions: Pros for competitive teams who are serious
and Joes for “Average Joes” looking to play for fun.

The Details:

Joes Division: 12 Teams, Round Robin Format, 2 Game Guarantee
Games will begin any time after 9:30 and run throughout the day. Three
girls will be required to be on all teams minimally and must all bat and
play in the field at all times. Recreational teams only. Competitive teams
should sign up as Pros. Teams will be grouped and play in a round robin
format. Winners of each round robin will play in a standard single
elimination playoff to determine who goes to the championship game.

Joes Division will be played with a few twists:
The bases must be ran in reverse direction. (to 3rd base first) If you go
the wrong way you may turn around touch the base you left and continue on.
If they tag the base you left or the base you meant to run to, you are out.
No homerun limit will apply this year but 5 runs will remain the maximum
that can be counted per inning. 12 players MAX.

If you’re interested, you can register at on
the home page. Cost is $30 a person. You can reserve your spot with $30 and
pay the rest by October 1st. Feel free to email me with any questions:
